Hi, I’m Luke, a Financial Analyst at a Fortune 500 company who enjoys helping students master Excel, finance, and accounting concepts used in real-world business settings. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from a small liberal arts college. My specialty is solving problems using analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel. In college, I did some formal tutoring in subjects such as Financial and Managerial accounting including one semester as a teaching assistant for managerial accounting where I helped students understand coursework and prepare for exams. Outside of formal tutoring, I have frequently helped classmates, coworkers, and interns work through challenging problems and projects.

I have extensive experience with Microsoft Excel, including advanced features such as PowerQuery and complex formulas commonly used in business and data analysis. I am also experienced with managerial or internal accounting concepts and financial modeling and reporting. The combination of my education and industry experience gives me a balanced pool of information for business students who are looking to succeed in the classroom as well in their future or current careers.
