I am currently in my final semester at the University of Pittsburgh, where I am graduating with the highest honors while completing a double major in Finance and Human Resources, along with a minor in Law, Criminal Justice, and Societies. In the fall, I will be attending Seton Hall Law School while also pursuing my MBA. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and academic writing, and I regularly apply these skills when tutoring students. My coursework in finance, accounting, statistics, and law has strengthened my ability to clearly explain complex material and tailor instruction to different learning styles.
I have several years of experience tutoring students in one-on-one settings across a wide age range. I have worked with elementary, middle school, and high school students, helping them with homework, test preparation, and reinforcing classroom concepts. In addition, I have tutored college students in finance and accounting, assisting with topics such as financial statements, fundamental accounting principles, problem-solving techniques, and exam preparation. My tutoring experience has taken place in individualized settings, allowing me to adjust pacing, explanations, and practice methods based on each student’s needs.
My tutoring approach is both content-focused and skill-based, emphasizing critical thinking, organization, problem-solving, and effective study strategies alongside subject mastery. I focus on helping students understand the underlying concepts rather than relying on memorization, which builds confidence and long-term academic success. What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect academic material across subjects and teach students how to learn, not just what to learn. I aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing independence, and achieving their academic goals.
