I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) student at Columbia University with a strong academic background in the sciences. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Chatham University, where I developed a solid foundation in biology, chemistry, kinesiology, and human movement. My education has emphasized critical thinking, applied anatomy, and evidence-based learning, which I bring into every teaching interaction.

While I have not held a formal tutoring position, I have extensive experience supporting peers academically at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In my DPT program, I have regularly helped classmates better understand complex material in courses such as anatomy and kinesiology. During my undergraduate studies, I also assisted peers with biology, chemistry, and core exercise science coursework. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable parts, reinforcing foundational knowledge, and helping students understand how topics connect rather than relying solely on memorization.

Most of my tutoring experience has taken place in one-on-one or small-group academic settings with college-aged students. In addition, while playing Division III college basketball, I worked basketball camps with children and high school students, gaining hands-on experience teaching, mentoring, and communicating in fast-paced learning environments. Along with various volunteer experiences involving a wide range of ages, these roles have strengthened my ability to adapt my teaching style to different learning needs and age groups. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning atmosphere that helps students build confidence and succeed academically.

Basketball

Basketball

I am a 2x Pennsylvania State Champion and a 4x WPIAL Champion, competing in the WPIAL—the largest and most competitive section in Pennsylvania high school sports. I continued my basketball career at Waynesburg University, where I played at the collegiate level. In addition, I have volunteered at many youth basketball camps, working directly with young players to develop their skills, fundamentals, and understanding of the game.
Nutrition

Nutrition

I am well qualified to teach nutrition based on my strong academic background in the subject. I have completed multiple nutrition courses throughout both my undergraduate studies and Doctor of Physical Therapy program, giving me a solid understanding of evidence-based nutrition principles. This coursework has equipped me with knowledge of how nutrition impacts health, performance, and recovery. I am able to apply this information in a practical, educational way to support a wide range of learners.
