I’m a current Information Systems student at a top U.S. university with several years of experience helping students build confidence in math, programming, and standardized test prep. My academic background includes advanced coursework in calculus, statistics, data science, and software development, and I scored a 1530 on the SAT with a perfect 800 in Math. These experiences allow me to explain challenging material in ways that make sense to students while also giving them strategies they can use independently.
I’ve been tutoring students ages 10–16 for about five years in both one-on-one and small-group settings. My approach is centered on meeting students where they are, breaking concepts into clear steps, and building problem-solving habits rather than memorization. Whether I’m helping a student prepare for the SAT, strengthen algebra foundations, or introduction to coding! I focus on identifying learning gaps early and guiding students through examples until they feel comfortable taking the lead.
Students tell me that I’m patient, easy to talk to, and good at explaining complex ideas without making them feel overwhelmed. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style depending on their goals. Sometimes that means working through practice problems slowly and carefully, and other times it means pushing for pattern recognition or deeper conceptual understanding. Above all, I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged, capable, and proud of their progress.
