Hi there! am currently a second-year master's student at Carnegie Mellon University studying Computational Biology. I earned my bachelor's in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, College Park. I have a strong background in mathematics and problem-solving, and I’ve always enjoyed helping others learn. I’ve had the chance to tutor and teach students from elementary school all the way through high school. Whether it’s working through tricky word problems in elementary math, building a strong foundation in algebra and geometry, or preparing for the SAT/ACT, I enjoy breaking concepts down into clear, simple steps that make sense.
I know that math can sometimes feel intimidating, so I focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment. Every student learns differently, and I work to find the best way to explain problems in a way that "clicks" for each person. My goal is not just to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence so they feel ready to tackle challenges on their own.
With years of academic experience and a passion for tutoring, I’m excited to help students learn that math doesn’t have to be overwhelming. I look forward to supporting your learning journey and celebrating your progress along the way!
