Over the past 15 years, I’ve immersed myself in the art of singing and vocal performance. My musical journey began at a young age, learning piano, guitar, and trumpet, which provided me with a strong foundation in music. Throughout the years, I’ve had the privilege of performing in a variety of settings, including school and church choirs, select ensembles, and as a concert soloist.
My training spans multiple genres and experiences. I’ve studied classical and opera for over 10 years, performed in rock bands for 6+ years, and spent 4 years in collegiate a cappella. I’ve also competed and been selected for various events, including NATS for Classical and Musical Theater, performing "The Star-Spangled Banner" at naturalization ceremonies, sporting events at local colleges, and several Relay for Life events. These diverse experiences eventually led me to start my own performance business, specializing in events such as weddings, baptisms, confirmations, funerals, and more.
During college, I deepened my knowledge with courses in music theory, classical voice lessons, and a cappella singing. I also served as the president of my a cappella group for three years, overseeing music education and focusing on musical arrangements and application.
As a mezzo-soprano, I specialize in mixing techniques that bridge the gap between chest and head voice, and I enjoy tailoring lessons to meet the individual goals of each student. I’ve taught sopranos through basses, ensuring each lesson is custom-designed to cater to their unique vocal needs.
Some of my favorite artists include Tame Impala, Glass Animals, Holly Humberstone, Billie Eilish, Phoebe Bridgers, and Florence + The Machine.
