My name is Fred. I'm an incoming grad student studying classics. Having graduated with a BA history degree means that I can teach most historical subjects, whether AP or not. Having written many academic research papers is also my strength to help my students with their own essay writing. I studied a lot of history on World War II and Nazi Germany, and have studied German for a year. These are my strongest subjects outside of classics but all topics are welcome.

Being a classics major in grad school, my strongest subject is the history and civilization of Ancient Rome. In my college I also taught this subject for one semester thanks to the college's special student teaching program. I love Latin, and having studied this language intensively for 3 years I can write prose and read Latin literature at ease, so I'm very excited to introduce my students the fun of learning Latin language. While I have just studied Ancient Greek for less than two years, my systematic training is also efficient for introducing it to my students.
Outside of my academic fields of study, I'd also like to teach SAT, ACT, and TOEFL, having studied them thoroughly and received decent scores. I'd especially focus on TOEFL, because English is my second language thus I relate a lot with international students learning English to come to the US.
Last but not least, I'm very well-versed in music theory as a musician in my free time. I'm a trained guitarist and pianist and a composer on my own. I'd love to offer my musical insights to students!
