Hello! My name is Madison and I graduated from Saint Vincent College, Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Special Education with a Specialization in Autism from Slippery Rock University.
Throughout my years as a student, I learned how a teacher can make or break my experience. Teachers that were compassionate, patient, and loving taught me more than teachers who were not. I knew when I went to school to become a teacher I wanted to be someone that students could depend on and come to if they were in need of assistance.
In my tutoring sessions, I will be using the “I Do, We Do, You Do” approach to ensure that students learning is supported along the way. I am very flexible to students individualized needs and learning styles. I have 1 year of tutoring experience with elementary aged students. I always make myself available to my students for extra help if they need it.
I am open to resources and suggestions that students or parents can provide me with. I am a very good communicator and will be available to you in a timely manner. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have or to schedule our first lesson. I look forward to working with you and helping you grow!
