I graduated from UCLA with a major in Molecular Biology and a minor in Biomedical Research. I am currently pursuing my MD degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, a top 15 medical school, where I am part of the highly selective Physician Scientist Training Program (accepted as one of only 8 out of 200 students in the class).
I have over six years of tutoring experience across a variety of subjects and age groups. I began tutoring in high school, where I served as President of the Tutoring Association, and continued throughout college, where I specialized in Organic Chemistry. I have also helped students across all levels of mathematics, biology, and chemistry, and I scored a perfect 36 on the ACT, which allows me to effectively tutor standardized test preparation as well.
My approach is personalized, confidence-building, and goal-oriented. I’ve been told by students that I am calming, direct, and funny — I want learning to feel both approachable and empowering! I especially enjoy helping students unlock their full potential and find joy in subjects they once struggled with.
In addition to academic tutoring, I have a strong passion for helping students craft standout college and medical school applications, offering support with personal statements, editing, and overall strategy.
