My name is Atharva, and I’m a senior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a double major in Physics and Mechanical Engineering. With a strong academic foundation in both disciplines, I’ve developed a deep understanding of advanced math and physics concepts and how they apply in real-world engineering contexts.
For the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of tutoring students in subjects ranging from algebra and calculus to upper level physics courses. Whether someone is just starting out or tackling upper-level coursework, I truly enjoy helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and reach their academic goals. Tutoring is more than just answering questions—it's about creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and grow academically.
I've helped students of all ages ranging from 15-year-olds to 22-year-olds. I've experience in individual, group, and online tutoring over the past 2 years. I am a member of the phi-sigma-phi honors physics society. I have a 3.80 GPA and I have direct industry experience. I interned at Westinghouse this past summer, and currently am building a startup developing an atomic force microscope as an educational tool.
