I am currently a third-year student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and will be receiving my J.D. at the beginning of May. Prior to law school, I scored above the 80th percentile on the LSAT, earning significant scholarships to help fund my education. During law school, I have served as a member of the school's Law Review, evidencing my strong skills in academic research, writing, and proofreading. I have also had the privilege of being a Teaching Assistant, helping faculty to facilitate the effective teaching of first-year students. In this position, my tutoring responsibilities have taken the form of Office Hours, where students could approach me with their questions so that we might address areas of weakness in their understanding.
Prior to law school, I received my B.A. in Political Science from John Carroll University, where I graduated near the top of my class as a member of the school's Honor's College. Pursuing this degree, I achieved stellar marks in American History, Comparative Politics, International Politics, Political Thought, Research Methods, and a variety of other courses required as part of my Honors curriculum.
Though I may not have traditional teaching experience, I have always had a knack for assisting others in bettering their understanding within my areas of expertise. As a recent college graduate currently pursuing a professional degree, I know what it takes to succeed in today's academic climate. I look forward to any opportunity to help others achieve similar success.
