I am an anesthesiology resident at a competitive program with an MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. I specialize in strategic preparation for the MCAT and USMLE exams, with a particular focus on performance diagnostics. Many students put in significant study time but continue to plateau because the issue is not simply content gaps — it is execution. My work centers on identifying why points are being lost, whether due to passage interpretation errors, inefficient study methods, timing issues, or misalignment between preparation strategy and cognitive style. Once we isolate the problem, we correct it directly and systematically.
I work especially well with students who feel stuck despite strong effort, non-traditional students returning to academics after time away, and those aiming for competitive medical pathways. My background across the full medical pipeline, from MCAT preparation through medical school, USMLE exams, and residency match, allows us to approach preparation strategically rather than narrowly. Sessions are structured, analytical, and individualized, with an emphasis on building durable reasoning skills and long-term academic positioning rather than short-term memorization. The goal is not just score improvement, but a recalibrated approach to high-stakes testing.

Approved Subjects

Anatomy

Anatomy

I am an MD with a strong academic background in anatomy, having completed both undergraduate and medical school courses. I’ve successfully passed all my anatomy classes and have hands-on experience applying anatomical knowledge in clinical settings. My expertise includes guiding students through anatomical terms, structures, and functions, helping them grasp challenging concepts and succeed in their studies.
Biochemistry

Biochemistry

I have a BS in Biochemistry, with extensive coursework in biochemistry, molecular biology, and related fields like genetics and cell biology. My deep understanding of biochemical processes is complemented by my graduate training in infectious disease epidemiology, giving me a strong grasp of real-world applications. I excel at breaking down complex biochemical concepts and making them accessible to students at various levels.
Biology

Biology

I hold a BS in Biochemistry and have completed coursework in advanced biology, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, microbiology, and cell biology. My graduate training as an infectious disease epidemiologist further enhances my understanding of biological processes and their real-world applications. With this background, I am well-equipped to teach and explain complex biological concepts, making them accessible to students at all levels.
Biostatistics

Biostatistics

I have a solid foundation in biostatistics, having taken both undergraduate statistics and graduate-level biostatistics courses. I have designed statistical analyses for medical surveys and studies, using biostatistics to evaluate patient safety and health outcomes. In my role as an epidemiologist, I regularly applied biostatistical methods to assess complex health data, ensuring robust, evidence-based conclusions.
Chemistry

Chemistry

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and have extensive experience in chemistry-related coursework, including general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical biochemistry, and advanced level biochemistry. I have taught and tutored students at both the high school and college levels, helping them understand complex concepts, prepare for exams, and improve their academic performance. My experience as a biochemistry TA has also allowed me to develop effective teaching strategies that make challenging material more approachable and easier to grasp.
Epidemiology

Epidemiology

I have my MPH in epidemiology from a top public health program. I have 4 years experience working in the public sector I’m epidemiology, as well as a wealth of experience conducting epidemiology research. In addition, I have taken graduate level public health and epidemiology coursework after achieving my graduate degree.
Genetics

Genetics

I completed both basic and advanced genetics courses during my undergraduate Biochemistry degree, then continued graduate-level genetics studies in medical school. My training emphasized key areas such as inheritance patterns, molecular mechanisms, population genetics, and medical applications. This background has given me a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied genetics at multiple levels of study.
MCAT

MCAT

I am an anesthesiology resident at a top program with an MD from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Minnesota. My training has required mastery of high-stakes standardized exams, including strong performance on the MCAT, USMLE Step 1, and USMLE Step 2. In my work with MCAT students, I focus not only on content clarity but on performance mechanics, identifying where reasoning breaks down, where passage interpretation leads to missed points, and how study systems can be refined for efficiency and retention. Drawing from both my medical training and years of tutoring experience, I help students strengthen analytical skills, improve execution under timed conditions, and build confidence across all sections of the exam.
Microbiology

Microbiology

Have both undergraduate and graduate/medical training in microbiology.
Physiology

Physiology

I am an MD with a strong foundation in pathophysiology, having completed advanced coursework in both physiology and pathophysiology throughout my medical education. I have also taken graduate-level courses in physiology, which deepened my understanding of the body’s systems and disease mechanisms. In addition to my academic background, I have extensive experience tutoring students in complex medical topics, helping them break down difficult concepts and apply them to real-world clinical scenarios.
SAS

SAS

I gained proficiency in SAS through graduate coursework and used it extensively for my thesis. Over the past five years, I have applied SAS in my work as an epidemiologist, utilizing it for data analysis and research purposes. During medical school, I continued to use SAS for research, giving me a strong foundation in this powerful statistical tool for both academic and professional projects.
USMLE

USMLE

I am a US MD who graduated in the top quartile of my class and successfully passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 on the first attempts. My Step 2 was 260. Additionally, I have 3 years of experience tutoring medical students in NBME shelf and USMLE Step content.

Patient tutor and provides really good tips for Cars

He has taught me how to tackle cars questions and helping me avoid using outside information. He is also great at explaining B/B section, which is one of my weak points.
