Hi all, I am a third-year PhD graduate student at the University of Pittsburgh. I received my Bachelor's of Science (Biology major) at Boston College. My career goal is to become a college professor and lead a cancer research laboratory.

I know just how hard STEM subjects can be, as I've gone through the undergraduate pre-medical path myself. I'd like to help students achieve high grades in their STEM courses so that they can be successful with their college/grad school applications and transition smoothly. I graduated in the top 7% of my class in high school, succeeded at Boston College, and was accepted into many of the top cancer research PhD programs in the country. Throughout school, I've volunteered and been part of many clubs and mentorship programs. I've been tutoring high school and college students for over 5 years, beginning in 2020 as an undergrad at Boston College. It's very rewarding to hear my students reach their goals after tutoring sessions, whether that's test prep, homework, or college essay writing. I value communication greatly and will do my best to find a schedule that works best for my students and myself.

Within science, I've the most experience with Biology, specifically molecular and cell biology. Some courses I've taken in college and beyond include: Biology Ecology and Evolution, Molecules and Cells, Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, Biostatistics (using R software), Genetics, Cancer Biology, and Recombinant DNA Technology. I've studied Calculus and Physics as well.
