I've taught at an engineering summer camp for middle and high schoolers from low income backgrounds, where I developed my own computer science lesson module and taught other camp leaders how to teach the lesson. I have been tutoring kids since I was in middle school. I've always enjoyed working with children, and have found tutoring to be a great way to both practice my oral presentation skills and also review my technical knowledge.
I got an 800 on the math section of my SAT, and always excelled in the advanced math courses throughout school. Also I'm an engineering major, which shows that I have a passion for math.
I've tutored Python online throughout COVID, and it's my favorite subject to teach. I've made a CS teaching module for a summer camp before, and taught other teachers how to teach it. I took Introduction to Computer Programming taught in Python at Carnegie Mellon, which is a number 1 CS school, and at the end programmed my own game.
