If you struggled with your calculus, algebra, or microeconomics and would like to see significant improvements, if you had a hard time navigating through your college curriculum and would like to better plan for the coming semester, if you have plans but haven’t decided yet on your major and would need guidance, or if you are applying to graduate schools and need to build up your CV, I am happy to help with my passion and experience.
Currently a lecturer in economics at Stony Brook University, I hold a PhD in economics from Johns Hopkins and a PhD in mathematics from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I have had over 15 years of teaching experience, during which I have built an extensive teaching portfolio. An excellent teacher in undergraduate and graduate levels, I am capable of delivering authoritative, punctual, and personalized tutoring based on each student’s needs and objectives.
I prefer to offer lessons virtually to optimize flexibility. I can meet as much as daily one hour per day or weekly.
I have a set of materials for each subject, but you are welcome to use any material you feel most comfortable with.
An excellent teacher for both large lectures and small group seminars, I also excelled in private tutoring, capable of teaching foundational courses at rudimentary level and advising independent research-oriented projects.
