Hey there! My name is Ronald and I am a third-year medical student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine (Perelman School of Medicine). During my gap years in between undergrad and med school, I spent two years working in tech, energy and healthcare consulting at Ernst & Young. My time both as a consultant and a med student has taught me a valuable skill - how to learn interpret key concepts quickly and apply them in clinical or business scenarios. No matter where you are in your academic journey, this is a useful skill and will serve you well in your future. I strongly believe that anyone can be a good student if they are given the proper resources and guidance to do so. So, whether you are studying for your pre-algebra exam or preparing for the MCAT, I want to work with you to create a study plan that can guarantees your academic success.
Prior to med school, I graduated from Stanford University in September 2021 with a B.A. in Human Biology and a minor in African and African American Studies. Throughout my time at Stanford, I engaged in a variety of activities that allowed me to develop my interpersonal communication and tutoring skills. After my freshman year at Stanford, I spent eight weeks in Tarija, Bolivia tutoring middle school-aged students in math and language classes, almost entirely in Spanish. Additionally I worked as a Stanford tour guide for three years, where I introduced thousands of visitors to Stanford's campus, student culture, and many extracurricular and academic opportunities. I am excited to apply the lessons I learned from these experiences to my future role as your tutor.
Please feel free to reach out to me for any questions regarding my tutoring services and to schedule a lesson. I also included my academic credentials below. Looking forward to working with you!
