She was very helpful! I had only used a tutor once or twice before and had not had a great experience but Kaytie changed that! Biochem is hard and I'm personally not a fan, it was a daunting subject. However, Kaytie made the material enjoyable for me. She is flexible with all learning styles and is willing to take extra time to check for understanding and application. She increased my grade by 2 or 3 letters which is amazing, especially for a class with a D average. If you can make the time, she can make a huge difference. Would highly recommend! She will definitely be a fantastic professor-I'm jealous of her future class :)

Amazing tutor!
Kaytie helped me to prepare for my presentation at my research lab's Journal club. I am new to the topic that I was given to present and there were many complicated concepts, but Kaytie really took the time to break down everything to help me understand the basics so that I can feel confident in the topic and present. Patient, flexible, and knowledgeable
I have struggled a lot with classes as I have both ADHD and dyslexia Kaytie helped immensely with keeping me on task explaining concepts and vocab in ways I could understand and generally being really flexible with both my schedule and learning. By far one of the best tutor I have had and can confidently say I could not have passed my Molecular Biology class let alone gotten a B+ without her help. She is very knowledgeable and is able to explain things in multiple ways until it clicked I would highly recommend her.

Worth Every Penny
Katie and I continued working on an original experiment assignment for my Cell Bio class. She really helped me with setting up my mock data for statistical analysis, and explaining which methods of analysis would be most useful to gain insight from the results of the experiment. She's incredibly smart, great at explaining concepts, and made it really fun. I highly recommend her for any Bio tutoring you need.
