I fell in love with chess years ago. Through my addiction I climbed from newbie to a peak blitz rating of 2496 ELO on chess.com. Now I love playing Philadelphia tourneys, taking down blitz masters online, and of course… teaching.
I pride myself in my ability to explain complex ideas in concise and relatable fashion, a skill I use everyday in the engineering field. I’ve taught many new beginners all the way up to 1700 ELO, all of whom enjoy chess to a greater extent now. It is my genuine belief that anybody is smart enough to reach that prestigious 2000 rating (many of you I’m assuming wish to attain online as well as OTB). My aim as your coach is not only to give you direct chess lessons and personal game analysis, but also to provide you a coherent guide through a forest of information for making chess improvements on your own.
On day one of our lessons, I will cater advice to your current skill level, review/analyze your most recent losses, answer questions, and teach you what the next most important step is for your chess improvement. Lessons may include opening theory, end game technique, tactics, and best of all… middle game positional chess.
Contact me, I'm really looking forward to hearing from you!
