Before teaching, I was a proofreader, editor, and writer for more than a decade in the business world, and I have plenty of experience writing thanks to my undergrad and graduate program experiences. I play video games and read comic books (still), and I always try to connect on a personal level with my students to make the whole experience more engaging.
