Hello! I’m a certified K–6 teacher with over 10 years of classroom and tutoring experience, specializing in elementary education, ESL/ESOL, and writing. Hello! I’m a certified K–6 teacher with over 10 years of classroom and tutoring experience, specializing in elementary education, ESL/ESOL, and writing. I believe learning should be engaging, hands-on, and tailored to each student’s needs—and nothing excites me more than seeing that “light bulb moment” when a student truly understands a concept.
I’ve taught across the U.S. and abroad, including serving as a Grade 3 Head Teacher, Science & Environmental Coordinator, and even founding and running my own elementary school in Zimbabwe. Currently, I teach in a Montessori setting, guiding mixed-age learners through individualized lessons that foster independence, confidence, and curiosity.
I work with students of all ages, from elementary through college. In addition to my specialty in elementary education, I support middle school, high school, and college-level learners—particularly in English, writing, reading comprehension, and ESL. My unique work experience over the years allows me to meet students where they are and help them grow with confidence.
Whether your child needs support in reading, writing, math, or ESL, or you’re a college student looking for writing and language support, I am here to help. My schedule is flexible, and I pride myself on building strong, supportive relationships with both students and families.
Let’s work together to make learning not just successful—but enjoyable!

ADHD

ADHD

I have ADHD myself, and this personal experience gives me a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths that come with it. Because I’ve developed strategies to stay focused, organized, and confident, I’m able to share practical tools that truly work in real life—not just in theory. My ADHD also helps me bring creativity, energy, and flexibility into my lessons, which keeps students engaged and motivated. I know firsthand how important it is to feel supported, and I love helping students with ADHD discover their own strengths and learning styles.
Common Core

Common Core

Through my experience teaching both abroad and in the United States, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and school systems. This has given me a unique perspective on how children learn and how to adapt lessons to fit their needs. Having taught in multiple states and settings, I have extensive experience with Common Core standards and know how to break them down in a way that makes sense for students.

Knowledgeable, patient and very nice math tutor

Both my kids love working with Vic. She is very knowledgeable, quick to pick up on the new topic every time without sending her notes ahead of time. My kids feel very comfortable talking with her. Even having fun with variables. I thought my kids would not do well with online tutoring but she has made it easy to do math and they don’t fight me on it.
