I’m Erica M. born in Congo Democratic Republic, naturalized America citizen. I have a bachelor degree in sociology from Lubumbashi University in Congo and just got my Master in Education from Lincoln University. French is my native language and the language of diplomacy inCongo Democrats Republic. I have taught French for almost 18 years now. I started in Mexico City. I taught all levels: elementary, high school and college. I feel comfortable when I do it.

I have been living in the United States of America for 20 years now. I had the opportunity to learn Spanish while I was living in Mexico. So, I speak Spanish too. Languages are my wealth. I left Congo Democratic Republic with Four languages. Presently, I'm fluent in six languages. I'm proud of myself and I encourage all my students to not give up. Learning a new language is hard, but not impossible. The knowledge, happiness and sensation that a different language brings in your life are amazing. A new language connects you to new people, with different habits and customs from yours, it brings extra knowledge. My message is a message of encouragement because many are so negative, discouraged to take a step to learn something new and worse when is to learn a new or different language.
