I worked with Stephanie throughout the summer while taking Gen Chem I and II as part of a postbac program to complete medical school pre-requisites. Both courses were intense--each taking place over just four weeks. I met with Stephanie regularly and she was able to break down challenging concepts and help me think through how to tackle different types of problems. We also met in the lead-up to exams and this was especially helpful. In addition to talking through the sample problem, she discussed different ways the problems could be asked. I can say with confidence that I went from a struggling chemistry student at the start of the summer to a competent and much more confident student by the end!

Stephanie is a true professional. Before the lesson, she is very responsive with correspondence. And she offers to accept relevant course material to prepare for the lesson. During the lesson, she is accommodating with the instruction style that the student is comfortable with. Her explanations are easy to understand verbally and visually (used on the screen white board). She is empathetic and encouraging. I highly recommend her and hope to have future lessons with her. Excellent teacher!
We asked Stephanie to basically reteach my son the first half of the AP Chem curriculum. She was able to determine what he needed and effortlessly went through all the topics - providing him an understanding his teacher wasn’t able to, while simultaneously instilling confidence that he could conquer this class. She seems to know not only the material, but the curriculum, inside and out. Plus, her teaching style worked very well for my son. Afterward, she provided an extremely detailed summary of the lesson. Excellent teacher!
