Hello! I’m Mona, a doctoral candidate at Temple University. I hold an MPH from Texas A&M and have worked as an Epidemiologist for two years. In addition to my academic and professional experience, I have a deep passion for teaching, especially helping students experience those "ah-ha" moments when everything clicks.

I specialize in Math and Science, but I also have extensive experience in reading and writing. Over the years, I’ve tutored students across all levels—from elementary through undergraduate—and I love finding creative ways to make complex concepts more accessible. I’ve also had the opportunity to help students prepare for major standardized tests such as the MCAT, GRE, ACT, PSAT, and SAT. With firsthand experience of what it takes to succeed on these exams, I’ve developed strategies and a “formula” that I believe can help any student improve their score.

Beyond test prep, I can help students with crafting a compelling essay, editing a thesis, or developing strong academic arguments. As a lifelong learner, I have had to read and write a lot, and I’m here to guide students through that process with confidence.

What excites me most is working with students who are motivated to learn and grow. I make it a priority to create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment where we can tackle challenges together. I believe in fostering an atmosphere of mutual respect, where learning feels like a collaborative experience—not a lecture. My goal is to make each lesson both educational and enjoyable so that students feel confident and empowered in their academic journey.
