I am a graduate of Penn State University majoring in Human Development, and a City Year Philadelphia Alumna. City Year is an education based non-profit that I volunteered with for 2 years. During those 2 years I worked inside the classroom assisting the primary teacher, in addition to doing small group tutoring sessions focused on improving math, literacy, attendance and social, emotional skills.
