Growing up I struggled with reading and writing but I was great at math. My peers and "experts" said I didn't have the ability to make it in a normal classroom setting. If I didn't have people around to encourage and tutor me in my weaknesses, making it thus far would have felt insurmountable. Now as an adult and engineering major in college I'm very grateful for the people that helped me along the way. Now I'm looking to do the same that these people did for me. I want to use my strengths to help people in their weaknesses.

I don't have a lot of experience tutoring but helping people is something that I am passionate about. I've tutored elementary school students that struggle in reading through a volunteer program called Reading Partners for about 5 months. I have also helped many friends and family with their math classes so that they all passed with As and Bs.
