Hi! I am a certified Spanish educator with over a decade of tutoring experience and 7 years of classroom teaching experience. I hold a B.A. in Spanish and an M.A. in Spanish Literature, and I am certified to teach Spanish in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In addition to teaching, I have written Spanish department curriculum, giving me a deep understanding of scope, sequence, and skill progression across levels. I have taught students in grades 7–12 in the classroom, as well as elementary students, college students, and adults in one-on-one tutoring settings. This range of experience allows me to adapt my instruction to different ages, proficiency levels, and learning goals—whether you are building foundational vocabulary, preparing for exams, strengthening grammar, or refining advanced writing and literary analysis skills.

My teaching approach blends communicative, top-down methods (focusing on meaningful communication and real-world language use) with traditional, bottom-up instruction (targeted grammar, structure, and accuracy work). I believe students learn best when they understand both how the language works and how to use it confidently. Lessons are personalized, structured, and goal-oriented, with clear explanations and supportive feedback.
