In my teaching career I have helped students with inter-generational studies and have guided them through preparing senior projects. I have coached students for the GED, SAT English and PSSA English tests. I am a hands-on teacher who believes in the practical application of education. Students need to understand the relevance of their education and how it pertains to their immediate environment and relates to their future success.
Tutoring is the opportunity for clarification and for exploration. I am an assessment driven teacher who believes in determining a student's educational baseline in order to provide intelligently designed individual instruction. I also teach based on a student's learning style which makes education enjoyable.
I find that working in a conveniently located library allows for a quiet dedicated educational space that decreases disruptions and allows students to focus on the assignments.
