About Michael

During my undergraduate degree and in Music History class, I became inspired to pursue higher education professionally. Subsequently changing Majors from Sound Recording Technology, I have later specialized in Music Composition, Theory and History while being qualified with higher multiple degrees [BA/MM/DMA 'ABD'], public performances and published essays.

Experience-wise I have taught at various levels including at the university, academy, middle-school and elementary schools for over two decades, while starting in New York State and now being local to Philadelphia.

For further reference, I have online material available as well.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
