I have mostly tutored middle and high school students but would be able to tutor college freshmen in introductory science as well. I have been a teaching assistant in introductory chemistry classes. I know that the sciences can often be hard for students to grasp so find different ways to explain concepts for understanding. I am also very friendly and believe in every students' abilities to learn and achieve.
I received my Bachelor's in Science with a double major in Biochemistry and Environmental Science. I also earned a Master's in Science Education and taught high school chemistry for three years. I like to tutor because it is a great opportunity for me to bring my skills into a more one-on-one experience. I have picked up quite a few learning skills to share with others so that it is not only about learning the information but using it to excel.
