I am a fourth-year medical student, on track to graduate in May 2027, at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University with a strong background in biology, anatomy, physiology, and the other foundational sciences that prepare students for the MCAT and medical school. I earned my B.S. in Human Physiology from Gonzaga University, graduating with magna cum laude honors. Since then, my medical education and clinical training have given me the opportunity to build on that foundation and apply these subjects to real-world medicine. I especially enjoy helping premedical and undergraduate students understand challenging concepts while seeing how they connect to the bigger picture.
My teaching experience includes tutoring high school students, which taught me how to break down challenging material into approachable, understandable concepts. During medical school, I have also served as a mentor to other students and have helped peers and junior students navigate coursework, study strategies, and the challenges of medical training. My approach is individualized: I first identify where a student is struggling, then work through the underlying concepts and use practice questions to reinforce understanding. Rather than relying on memorization alone, I emphasize reasoning, pattern recognition, and learning how to approach unfamiliar questions.
I offer tutoring in biology, anatomy, physiology, and MCAT preparation, as well as guidance for students applying to medical school. Having recently gone through the premedical and medical school journey myself, I can also help students with study planning, personal statements, application strategy, and interview preparation. My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and leave each session with both a stronger understanding of the material and a clear plan for what to work on next.
