Hello! I'm passionate about working with students and young professionals as they explore their next academic steps. I specialize in guiding undergraduates through developing the personal statements required for graduate school applications, as well as for the international scholarships and fellowships that support their post-graduate ambitions.
I've worked with hundreds of students globally at institutions including New York University, Yale University, and McGill University. My background includes formal training in writing tutoring, and I've worked with undergraduate students in roles at writing centers and teaching and learning centers. My students have gone on to be admitted to institutions such as Harvard, Yale, NYU, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, and Oxford.
Beyond graduate school applications, I have particular expertise in international fellowship and scholarship personal statement tutoring. My students have been named Rhodes Scholarship and Schwarzman Scholars finalists. I've also guided applicants through the Gates Cambridge Scholarship process, among other competitive global programs.
Storytelling is the throughline of my work. I take pride in keeping students' voices front and center in their applications, helping them showcase what makes them unique. Ambitious students can sometimes lose sight of how their passions and perspectives connect to their goals, and I love helping them find that clarity. I also want to instill confidence in my students. I have honors degrees in political science from Dickinson College (BA) and McGill University (MA). I also hold an ESL Teaching Certification.
