I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Chemistry from California State University, Fullerton, where I was honored with several awards from the American Chemical Society (ACS). I went on to earn an M.S. in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education from West Chester University, alongside holding a Pennsylvania teaching certificate in grades 7–12 Science and Chemistry. This background in both chemistry and education allows me to demystify complex scientific concepts and make advanced subject matter intuitive and accessible.
My passion for mentorship spans a wide range of academic levels and learning environments. I began my educational career tutoring students in subjects ranging from 3rd-grade mathematics to AP Chemistry, later leading supplemental instruction sessions and serving as an adjunct laboratory instructor at CSU Fullerton. During my graduate studies at UW–Madison, I guided university chemistry students through problem sets and laboratory analyses. More recently, I have worked as a high school science teacher in The School District of Philadelphia, where I specialized in adapting curricula to meet the unique needs of diverse learners. I am currently an adjunct faculty member in the chemistry department at the Community College of Philadelphia. Through specialized training in supporting English language learners and developing engaging academic coursework, I excel at helping students build genuine confidence in STEM subjects. Whether we are working through foundational math, high school chemistry, or advanced college-level coursework, my goal is to create a supportive, structured environment where you can develop strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and long-term academic success.
