I am a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and doctoral student in Educational Leadership with a Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Development from Capella University. I also earned dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Marketing from Chestnut Hill College. I will be serving as a Special Education Teacher and have experience supporting students in urban school settings through academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
My experience includes working with students in one-on-one, small-group, and classroom settings. I have assisted students with reading, phonics, study skills, executive functioning, homework completion, organization, and behavior support. I believe that every student can learn when instruction is individualized, strengths are recognized, and a supportive environment is established. I strive to build positive relationships with students and families while helping students develop confidence, independence, and strategies that can be used both in and outside of school.
I enjoy working with students who may need additional support with organization, attention, social skills, reading, or study habits. My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured. I understand that students learn in different ways, and I tailor my teaching methods to meet each student's unique needs and goals. Whether a student needs help catching up, staying organized, or building skills for long-term success, I look forward to partnering with families to help students reach their full potential.
