I am a successful English teacher with experience creating engaging lesson plans and fostering strong communication to support student comprehension and academic success. I am skilled in adapting course materials to meet curriculum standards while addressing individual learning needs. I find myself confident at motivating students through diverse instructional strategies, classroom management techniques, group activities, and hands-on learning experiences.
I currently serve as a Secondary English Teacher at Collegium Charter School since January 2021, working in a fast-paced high school environment to support students academically and emotionally, communicate regularly with parents and counselors, and collaborate with colleagues to assist struggling learners. I also worked as a Teacher at LearnWell from January 2020 to January 2021, planning and delivering lessons for adolescent students in a behavioral health facility while supporting their physical, mental, and social development.
I have earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education with a minor in Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in May 2021, graduating with a 3.6 GPA and multiple Dean’s List honors. I hold Pennsylvania State Teaching Certification clearances and is pursuing a Master’s in English at Millersville University of Pennsylvania, expected in 2026. Student teaching experience includes 11th grade English at Owen J. Roberts School District and 7th grade English at Chester Community Charter School.
