My name is Ahmed I., your friendly doctor and teacher. I am a multilingual PhD holder in Chemical Engineering and I'm excited to help you learn Math. I have two years of teaching experience where I helped tens of college students understand linear algebra, statistics, calculus and geometry by conducting 2 hour long sessions on a weekly basis, where I made these subjects likable and easy to by explaining how their concepts apply in real life situations.

Beside math, I also love teaching languages (Arabic and French), and I taught them for a few months as I was studying for my Master's. During the sessions I let the students sail between words and dazzled them by how different, new and funny they felt once they started reading, listening to and voicing them out loud. I'm a native Arabic speaker and took French for 6 years elementary though high school.
I absolutely love it when I see students comprehending complex subjects when I make them simple and straightforward, and I also believe that all languages are beautiful and help us bond and unify.
I view teaching as an active partnership, where I adopt a collaborative and conversation driven approach. Therefore, I prioritize personalized connection, active engagement. During my sessions, I deliberately pause at certain stages to see how students would react. When I work with students, I hear and learn from them more than I teach them. I carefully listen, process, re-word and then answer, and that bit by bit style will encourage them to communicate, think, realize and eventually succeed.
My goals are to help my students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will make them innovators capable of tackling the world's biggest challenges and also offer them the opportunity to become multilingual speakers and explore new cultures and traditions, which will in turn open lots of doors for them to have an exciting and fulfilling career.
