Hi, I’m Lee. I recently completed a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I built a strong background in robotics software, Python, C++, ROS/ROS 2, simulation, and computer vision.
In addition to my academic and project experience, I have teaching experience as a teaching assistant for both F1TENTH and Fundamentals in Software Engineering. In those roles, I worked with college students on technical material ranging from programming fundamentals to applied robotics systems. I helped students understand course concepts, work through implementation issues, debug code, and make progress on assignments and projects.
These experiences made me comfortable teaching in a way that is patient, structured, and practical. I know that many students do not get stuck because they are incapable — they get stuck because the gap between lecture material and real implementation can be frustrating. My approach is to break problems into smaller steps, help students understand why something is not working, and build their confidence so they can solve similar problems more independently in the future.
Because of my background, I am especially well suited to tutor Python, C++, computer science, robotics, ROS/ROS 2, and computer vision, particularly for college students and other learners working on technical coursework or projects. Whether a student needs help understanding fundamentals, debugging a difficult assignment, or getting unstuck on a robotics or software project, I aim to make sessions clear, supportive, and productive.
If you’re looking for help with programming, software engineering, or robotics-related topics, I’d be glad to help.
