Hi, I’m Lee. I recently completed a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania, where I built a strong background in robotics software, Python, C++, ROS/ROS 2, simulation, and computer vision.

In addition to my academic and project experience, I have teaching experience as a teaching assistant for both F1TENTH and Fundamentals in Software Engineering. In those roles, I worked with college students on technical material ranging from programming fundamentals to applied robotics systems. I helped students understand course concepts, work through implementation issues, debug code, and make progress on assignments and projects.

These experiences made me comfortable teaching in a way that is patient, structured, and practical. I know that many students do not get stuck because they are incapable — they get stuck because the gap between lecture material and real implementation can be frustrating. My approach is to break problems into smaller steps, help students understand why something is not working, and build their confidence so they can solve similar problems more independently in the future.

Because of my background, I am especially well suited to tutor Python, C++, computer science, robotics, ROS/ROS 2, and computer vision, particularly for college students and other learners working on technical coursework or projects. Whether a student needs help understanding fundamentals, debugging a difficult assignment, or getting unstuck on a robotics or software project, I aim to make sessions clear, supportive, and productive.

If you’re looking for help with programming, software engineering, or robotics-related topics, I’d be glad to help.

Approved Subjects

C++

C++

I recently completed a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania and previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University. My background includes C++ as a core programming language, along with hands-on experience building robotics and software systems in research and project settings. I have also served as a teaching assistant for F1TENTH and Fundamentals in Software Engineering, where I supported students with coding, debugging, and project implementation. I enjoy helping students build both strong fundamentals in C++ and the confidence to apply those skills in real technical work.
Linux

Linux

I recently completed a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania and previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University. My background includes Bash, ROS 2, robotics simulation, and software development workflows that depend on strong command-line and Linux environment skills. As a teaching assistant for F1TENTH and Fundamentals in Software Engineering, I supported students as they debugged technical issues and became more comfortable with development tools and project workflows. I enjoy helping students build practical confidence with Linux, from terminal basics and file navigation to scripting and everyday development tasks.
Robotics

Robotics

I recently completed a Master’s degree in Robotics at the University of Pennsylvania and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and Computer Science from Northeastern University. My experience includes robotics research and development across autonomous systems, control, simulation, perception, and system integration, with projects involving F1TENTH vehicles, quadrupeds, quadrotors, and UAV-UGV collaboration. As a teaching assistant for Penn’s F1TENTH course, I supported students as they worked through hands-on robotics concepts and technical challenges. I enjoy helping students connect robotics theory to real implementation and become more confident with technical problem solving.
