Hi, my name is Krish! I’m a current medical student who began tutoring during my undergraduate years at the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied Neuroscience and Psychology. I discovered a passion for helping students understand challenging subjects, especially biology and chemistry, where many can feel overwhelmed early on.
I have over two years of experience volunteering in Oakland-area schools, working with students across grade levels in foundational science subjects. I now provide individualized tutoring for K–12 students in biology, chemistry, math, and reading. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, creating structured study plans and targeted lessons to address gaps, reinforce key concepts, and prepare for exams.
I also help students build strong study habits, organization skills, and test-taking strategies. My academic background includes a 1510 SAT, 518 MCAT, and successful completion of USMLE Step 1 and COMLEX Level 1. I strive to create a supportive environment where students can build confidence and achieve long-term success!
