I'm an active scientist with a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from the University of Pennsylvania currently at the frontier of biological science leading independent research projects and contributing to peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals. I also train and teach new graduate students in a rigorous research environment.

Turns out, I actually enjoy teaching. And since my students keep coming back with new questions and ideas, I think it's safe to say that they have a good time as well.

My teaching philosophy is based on developing intuitive understandings of fundamental concepts before practicing problems that may show up on your exams, for which I can provide tailored test-tasking strategies and study tips.

Dr. Nick Palmer is an excellent tutor and has been helping me work through my biochemistry course. He is knowledgeable about biology, chemistry, and related topics. He is careful in his descriptions of how to approach problems but also is careful to not do the work for me so that I am still the one ultimately figuring out how to do the work. I really enjoy working with Dr. Palmer and will continue to utilize his tutoring whenever I can.
