Part of my educational background includes an MS in Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania and a double major/BS in Chemistry and Mathematics at Montclair State. Part of my educational career required me to do doctoral level research, where I have a background in computational chemistry on biophysical systems (integrating both quantum mechanics and molecular dynamics simulations to study protein-ligand interactions).

Outside of research, I have a passion for teaching and tutoring, which has been something I have done for the last eight years. Particularly, I had the chance to the a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry students at the University of Pennsylvania (created mock exams and led recitation review section for up to 50 students), General Chemistry Lab I/II at Montclair State (created YouTube videos to prepare student for each lab experiment of the week, Supplemental Instructor at Montclair State (responsible for one-on-one tutoring General Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry students). Even back in high-school, I was responsible for leading groups of students in both AP Physics and AP Chemistry for Science Olympiad competitions, where we ended up third place state-wide in New Jersey,

My tutoring style is more emphasized on example-driven tutorials to help student both understand the material and apply their understanding to practice. Usually, I have students be specific about the topics they want to cover and any material that they went over such that my tutoring session would be prepared ahead of time to tailor the session specifically to them. I primarily use online resources (particularly through Zoom) to be able to utilize my tablet to provide an immersive and interactive remote experience for each tutoring session, which is something I have done in my previous teaching/tutoring experiences.
