Hi everyone!
I am a fourth-year medical student at Drexel University obtaining my MD. I attended The Ohio State University for my undergraduate studies and graduated in 2020 with a BS in Nutrition Sciences, which included extensive pre-medical coursework such as physiology, biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, general and organic chemistry, statistics, and biology. I also have prior experience as a math tutor for elementary through high school students, and I taught chemistry and biology during college.
I scored a 35 on the ACT—with a perfect 36 in math and a 34 in science—so I am confident in my ability to help students achieve excellent results on a high-stakes exam. I am also very comfortable tutoring high school and college-level math and science courses. In addition, I can tutor for the MCAT, on which I scored in the 83rd percentile, and I can teach medical-school level subjects such as anatomy, microbiology, chemistry, biology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. I am flexible and always adapt my teaching style to what works best for you.
I truly enjoy tutoring and sharing my knowledge. I understand the stress and anxiety that can come from not fully grasping a concept, so my teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation and applying that knowledge through practice questions. My goal is to help you feel more comfortable and confident with the material. Beyond tutoring, I also love mentoring and assisting with college or medical school admissions. Tutoring is both a privilege and an honor, and I am committed to providing you with the best possible learning experience. I am always open to your questions and concerns. Thank you!
