I hold two master’s degrees—one in Special Education and another in Educational Leadership—and am currently pursuing an Ed.D. in Leadership and Special Education. Over the past several years, I have worked extensively with students from preschool through elementary school, specializing in early literacy, math foundations, and social-emotional learning. My experience spans both one-on-one tutoring and classroom instruction within the School District of Philadelphia, including work with diverse learners and students with individualized education programs (IEPs).

My teaching approach is student-centered and strength-based. I believe that every child learns best when instruction is engaging, differentiated, and connected to real-life experiences. During tutoring sessions, I use a blend of hands-on learning, visual supports, and progress monitoring to help students build confidence and master academic skills at their own pace. I also emphasize communication and collaboration with families, ensuring that learning goals remain consistent across home and school environments.

Over the years, I have supported children in developing early reading and writing skills using structured literacy practices, as well as in math readiness and problem-solving through play-based and inquiry-driven activities. My background in special education allows me to identify learning gaps quickly and tailor instruction using multisensory techniques such as phonics games, manipulatives, and guided practice. Whether working with early learners or students needing targeted intervention, I am dedicated to helping each child reach their fullest potential through patience, consistency, and encouragement.
