I am a recent graduate from Villanova University. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and minored in Spanish. During the summer before my junior year I had the opportunity to study in Spain where I was completely immersed in the language and culture. In addition to Psychology and Spanish, I studied various other subjects including Film, Criminology, and Social Justice. Aside from my studies I was highly involved on campus in student-focused groups working one on one with first year and prospective students.
Prior to college, I graduated high school in the top 10% of my class while taking AP and Honors courses. Math (predominantly Algebra) and Literature/Grammar I both excelled in and enjoyed. I was first chair clarinet of concert band, section leader for marching band, and a member of a local youth orchestra. I conducted weekly lessons with an early clarinet player by selecting beginner pieces independent from her band's selection in addition to walking her through difficult sections of her band's pieces.
I recently completed 8 months as a Behavioral Health Technician where I worked with a three-year-old girl with Autism Spectrum Disorder. My position provided behavioral support while taking data to keep track of progress. I currently work full time as a nanny for a three-year-old boy and 12 year old girl. I look forward to bringing my passion for education and helping students to tutoring!
