I am currently a first-year medical student at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University, building on a strong academic foundation in both engineering and the life sciences. I earned my undergraduate degree from Northeastern University, where I majored in Bioengineering and Biochemistry and also completed a minor in Data Science. This unique combination of disciplines has given me a deep understanding of biology and chemistry at both the molecular and systems level, while also equipping me with strong quantitative and analytical skills. These areas of expertise allow me to break down complex scientific concepts into clear, structured lessons that are approachable for students at many different levels.

My tutoring and teaching experience began during my undergraduate years, when I worked with high school and college students in biology, chemistry, physics, and math. I have also guided peers in pre-med coursework and MCAT preparation, emphasizing problem-solving strategies and active learning techniques. My approach is highly interactive: I encourage students to explain concepts back to me, apply what they’ve learned to practice problems, and connect material to real-world clinical or research contexts. This helps build both mastery of the content and confidence in applying it.

I have worked with students ranging from high school through college and early post-baccalaureate levels, in both one-on-one and small group settings. My experience spans structured environments, such as formal peer tutoring programs, as well as more informal mentorship roles with classmates and younger students. These experiences have taught me to adapt my methods to different learning styles and levels of preparation. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students succeed in their current courses, but also to help them develop the skills and mindset that will serve them throughout their academic and professional journeys.
