I’m currently a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Computer Science, and I earned my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, where I studied Business Information Systems and Global Management and graduated with a 3.90 GPA. My academic background includes computer science, Python, SQL, data analytics, Excel, business, financial accounting, and introductory biology.
I have experience working directly with undergraduate students at the University of Pittsburgh. As a Teaching Assistant for Business Analytics, I helped college students understand Python, data analysis, and quantitative concepts through classroom instruction and individual assistance. I also worked as a grader for a Database Management course, where I reviewed student work involving SQL, Excel, and database concepts. These experiences taught me how to identify where a student is struggling and explain challenging material in a clearer and more approachable way.
My tutoring style is patient, supportive, and adaptable to each student. I like to break difficult concepts into smaller steps, work through examples together, and then give students opportunities to apply what they have learned. If one explanation does not make sense, I am happy to approach the concept differently or return to the fundamentals. Whether a student needs help understanding course material, completing practice problems, or preparing for an exam, my goal is to help them build both their understanding and their confidence.
