I'm Olga, a life-long physicist. I earned my Bachelor & Master in condensed matter physics in Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia, and PhD in particle physics from Drexel University in Philadelphia. During my PhD studies, I was a teaching assistant in physics for engineer students, medical majors, and physicists. I taught all level of physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Electrodynamics, Optics, Quantum Mechanics, Relativity, and Nuclear Physics; Calculus-level physics and conceptual physics. I also taught prerequisite for college level physics Phys100 that entailed geometry, vectors and basic kinematics. I also worked as Adjunct for one quarter after my PhD, and taught labs.

As a teaching assistant, I taught recitations and held office hours, helping students with physics concepts and problems one-on-one. I also participated in multiple outreach events, including Philadelphia Science Festival, Kaczmarczik Day Open House and Young Innovators Open House, where I explained physics concepts behind fun experiments and activities. I also mentored students during my grad school & postdoc.

My teaching approach is to break down complex ideas into digestible steps and tailor explanations to each student's learning style. I also integrate practice problems strategically to reinforce concepts and build problem-solving skills.

I’m passionate about helping students develop both their skills and their confidence in physics, whether you're aiming for top scores or just trying to pass a tough course. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or to set up a lesson. I’d love to help you succeed!

Quantum Physics

I am a life-long physicist working in large multi-institutional particle & nuclear reactor experiments. I obtained my PhD in Drexel University in Philadelphia, where I taught physics as a TA for 5 years, and one quarter as adjunct after that. I have 20+ scientific publications that I can provide link to by request (on arXiv and inspireHEP)
