Hello Prospective MCAT Students!
My name is Sam, and I’m currently a second-year medical student at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. I am here to assist you with everything you need on your MCAT journey. As you prepare for one of the most significant exams of your academic journey, I understand the stress that accompanies it. I’m offering my services in tutoring individual subjects and developing test-taking strategies to maximize your MCAT Score.
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a 3.95 GPA and Bachelor’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Biochemistry. I went from scoring 507 on my practice exams to scoring a 526 (99th percentile) on my first MCAT attempt, all while juggling a full course load and working in a nursing home.
Since 2023, I have dedicated over 100 hours to virtually tutoring students for the MCAT and have also taught college-level courses in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, and Statistics. My students consistently achieve average scores of 515+.
My tutoring approach is centered around you as a learner. I focus on your specific needs and provide strategies tailored to your unique learning style to enhance your learning and boost your subject scores. Over my years of teaching and tutoring students in science and engineering, I’ve fine-tuned my strategies to help identify your strengths and improve your weaknesses to maximize your potential on test day. Together, we will design, implement, and succeed with a personalized and dynamic study plan.
The journey to medical school was one that was deeply personal to me, and I understand that things don’t always go according to plan. I am fully committed to supporting you through this entire process in whatever way makes sense. I am confident that I can prepare you to excel and turn your dreams of becoming a doctor into reality. I’m beyond excited to start this journey with you!
