Hi! My name is Jacob, and I’m currently a fourth-year medical student applying to pathology residency in Fall 2025. I’ve been tutoring for over 10 years, beginning in high school and continuing through college and medical school. Throughout this time, I’ve worked with students at all levels and across a wide range of subjects, with a strong focus on science and medical education.

In college, I served as the lead tutor for General Chemistry I & II, Anatomy I & II, and Organic Chemistry. I was also a gross anatomy tutor, a role I continued into my second year of medical school. Since 2022, I’ve worked with AnKing, helping develop and edit flashcard decks used by nearly 100,000 medical students worldwide.

I’m deeply passionate about medical education and love helping students succeed—whether they’re just getting started or are preparing for high-stakes exams like USMLE or COMLEX. I’ve personally passed both COMLEX Level 1 and USMLE Step 1 on my first attempts, and scored at or above the 90th percentile on every NBME shelf exam during my third year. Most recently, I earned a 266 on USMLE Step 2, placing in the 90th percentile nationally.

My goal as a tutor is simple: help you build exam-proof strategies that allow you to reach your full potential—whether you’re preparing for Step, COMLEX, shelf exams, or just trying to solidify core medical concepts. I work with students at every level, and I tailor each session to your individual needs and goals.

When I’m not tutoring, you’ll find me snowboarding, cooking, or diving into a good fantasy novel.
