I'm a current student at the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a dual degree at The Wharton School and Penn Nursing. I help students gain confidence in their writing, master academic subjects, and navigate the college application process with clarity.

I have over three years of tutoring experience working with middle and high school students in biology and math, through Calculus 1. I focus on creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges at their own pace. My goal is to help students build a strong understanding of concepts while developing confidence in their problem-solving abilities.

I’ve edited countless college application essays for friends, peers, and classmates, helping them brainstorm topics, strengthen their narratives, and polish their final drafts. Through these experiences, along with navigating my own successful applications to Ivy League and competitive programs, I’ve developed a strong sense of what makes a personal statement or supplemental essay stand out.

I understand how overwhelming the college application process can feel, and I’m passionate about helping students uncover meaningful topics, weave their extracurriculars and personal experiences into their essays, and turn their ideas into compelling, authentic narratives. Whether you’re stuck at the brainstorming stage or need feedback on a final draft, I’ll work with you to ensure your story shines through with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

If you’re looking for an approachable, patient tutor who understands the academic and college admissions journey firsthand, I’d love to work with you!

Public Speaking

I have over six years of public speaking experience through competitive debate, including Parliamentary Debate, Congressional Debate, Public Forum, and Original Oratory. I’ve earned multiple awards and qualified twice for the California State Championships in Parliamentary and Congressional Debate. In addition to competing, I’ve spent the last two years tutoring middle school students and mentoring high school underclassmen in both debate and public speaking, helping them build confidence, improve delivery, and develop persuasive arguments. Outside of competition, I also led a community volunteer series where I created and presented workshops on technology and healthcare basics for senior citizens, an experience that taught me how to adjust my communication style for different audiences and make complex topics accessible and engaging. This fall, I’ll be attending The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in Economics.
