I'm Audrey! I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics and a minor in Mathematics. Throughout college, I received tons of help and advice from my older peers. As I gained more experience, I took on both teaching assistant and grader roles that allowed me to pass on the help that I received.
I have worked as a TA for 2 years now in a high level mechanical engineering lab course, but on the side, I also tutored my two younger brothers in their middle and high school math and physics courses. As a mechanical engineer, I was learning alongside the students I TA'ed, but when helping my brothers, I could really make a difference because I felt very confident in the depth of my knowledge. My college tutoring experience was largely in interactive classroom settings, but I am most confident in small groups and one on one environments where I can answer more direct questions from the students. While my expertise is in math and physics, I am confident in most academic fields, particularly standardized testing (SAT 1600, ACT 35) and general writing assistance.
I want to help the students I work with as much as possible. I'm very flexible with timing especially during the summer and am happy to take suggestions or requests from parents to improve the tutoring experience for each student. Feel free to reach out to schedule a session!
