Hi! My name is Catherine, and I’m currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Physics and Music at UPenn. I’m deeply passionate about physics and math, and I love teaching and sharing that passion.

I’ve been tutoring middle and high school students in math and physics for several years, including the SAT and AP-level courses including Calculus and Physics. My experience spans both in-person and online formats, and I’ve worked with students of varying learning styles and confidence levels. Whether it’s breaking down concepts step-by-step or guiding students through homework problems, I tailor my approach to each student’s needs.

In addition to private tutoring, I currently serve as a teaching assistant for college-level physics courses, including Introductory Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism. This experience has further strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and support students at different points in their academic journey.

Ultimately, my goal as a tutor is not just to help students improve their grades, but to help them genuinely understand the material (and maybe even start to enjoy it).
